Our Chapter 649 & Boy Scout Pack
& Troop 452 will be having a Military Dedication on Saturday, November
7, 2009
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at
the Union Township Veterans Memorial Park.
Please join the families of the fallen, local veterans, and the community
to honor our heroes who gave the
ultimate sacrifice.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated in placing the flags.

will have a dedication ceremony on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2009
at The Batavia Township Community Park 1535 Clough Pike.
There will be an open house with
refreshments starting at 2:30 p.m. and the Dedication Ceremony will begin
at 3:00 p.m.

Veteran's Day Parade
The Veteran's Day
Parade will take place Wednesday evening November 11, 2009 in downtown
Batavia.
Our very own Life Member Colonel Joseph W. Johnston will be this year's
Grand Marshal !
Those interested in marching in the parade should assemble at the Batavia
Post Office on Main Street at 6:00 p.m.
Applebee's Restaurants
The Applebee's restaurants will be
serving veterans and active duty military (with proof of service)
a free meal on Veterans Day Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
Golden Corral
The Golden Corral
on Glen Este Withamsville Road will be serving free dinner on Monday,
November 16, 2009
to all active military and veterans (with proof of service) from 5:00
– 9:00 p.m.
Christmas Party
The Christmas Party Details are enclosed.
Donations of door prizes are greatly appreciated.
AVVA News
We have received papers for incorporation
and have 60 days to return to headquarters.
We need AVVA papers signed which will be at the November chapter meeting.
Please try to attend and sign the petition papers.
Connie Lillis will undergo knee surgery on Tuesday, November 10th.
Please keep her in your thoughts.
