Veterans Bike Show Report
The 2nd Annual Southwest Ohio Veterans
Bike Show -
Saturday August 29th & Sunday, August 30th @ the Clermont County Fairgrounds
was a great success.
There were over 20 vendors and 17 bikes that entered the bike show competition.
It was greatly appreciated for the donations and the support from the
volunteers and all of those who assisted
in making this event a success.
AVVA News
Congratulations to AVVA member Regina
Herbolt who was a nominee for the Orpha Gatch Citizenship Award of the
League of Women Voters of Clermont County.
She was one of nine nominees for the award which is presented to the county
resident who best shows the energy and
optimism by volunteering to improve her community.
A special program was held on August 29th at the Receptions Hall.
Regina was surrounded by family and friends at the special dinner.
She is an excellent role model for volunteering and it was so nice that
she was recognized for all her wonderful efforts
and not to mention designing our new chapter shirts!
The check and letter have been sent
to AVVA Headquarters to begin the Incorporation process.
This is the 10th year for AVVA so we will have a good starting date.
We will be contacting all AVVA members in the near future for the process
of Incorporating.
AVVA was well represented at the Bike
Show. Larry Jarman & his group had a well organized food booth &
our newest member Sandy Sullivan ran the refreshment & cookie booth.
Evelyn, Joann, BJ, Tami, and Conni sold raffle tickets with great success.

Next Meeting Of VVA Chapter 649
We will be having a Movie Night before
the meeting beginning at 6:00 for those interested in coming early.
