Hour Vigil Report
VVA Chapter 649 vigil
was as is every year a memorial event.
We want to thank all those who attended and/or participated in the event
and a special thanks to Connie Lillis
for keeping all of us in line and well fed.
We also want to send a thank you to the Clermont County Veterans Service
Commission
for supporting the expense that went into the event.
The Veterans Bike Run
Event Report
Southwest Ohio Veterans Bike Run was
held on Sunday, June 7th with over 60 motorcycles
that went on the ride.
This event benefited Joseph House for homeless veterans, Fisher House
and Food Pantry.
We want to thank all that participated in the event and a special thanks
to Ron Miller and Jack Haigwood for a successful run.
DET
3 Foundation
Charles Donabedian
from the The Det 3 foundation was our May guest speaker.
The purpose of the foundation is to provide direct support to combat troops
from the US Army
and the United States Marines such as care packages, comfort food, needs
that are requested
and also provides handheld GPS units.
The foundation is funded by tax-deductible donations.
