Upcoming Veterans Event

Southwest Ohio Veterans Bike Run will be held on Sunday, June 7th.
Registrations begins @ 10:00 am at Rhinos Bar & Grill located at 792 Eastgate South Drive.
The ride will leave at noon.
Registration fee is $15.00 per person or $20.00 two up.
The ride will return to Rhinos around 3:00 pm where there will be food, drink, and a band performance
starting at 4:00 pm.
This event will benefit Joseph House for homeless veterans, Fisher House and Food Pantry.

24 Hour Vigil

VVA Chapter 649 started this vigil in 1993 to honor the 513 fallen heroes from the surrounding area during the Vietnam War.
An American flag is placed atop a cross to show our appreciation for their ultimate sacrifice.
The 24 hour vigil will begin Sunday May 24th, 2:00 pm @ the Union Township Veterans Memorial Park
Loacated at Clough Pike and Glen Este-Withamsville Roads.

Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor

Clermont County had three veterans inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor
as part of the Class of 2009 on Friday May 1st.
The three veterans were:
Captain John P. Carlin, Marines, Vietnam Silver Star.,
Captain Paul E. Taylor, Army, Korea, Silver Star
Captain Roscoe E. Cartright Jr. Army, Vietnam, Bronze Star with “V” Device.
